Glutathione

Glutathione is an endogenous γ-glutamyl-cysteinyl-glycine tripeptide central to cellular thiol-redox chemistry, peroxide reduction, and conjugation pathways. The storefront and 1500 mg vial artwork say only “Glutathione”; they do not distinguish reduced glutathione (GSH), oxidized glutathione (GSSG), a salt, hydration state, or formulation. Because those are chemically different materials, the exact product identity and molecular fields remain unverified. FDA has documented contamination and endotoxin-related adverse events involving glutathione ingredients used in compounded sterile injectables, underscoring that a mass and purity claim do not establish sterility or route suitability.
