Product Description

KPV denotes the Lys-Pro-Val sequence corresponding to residues 11–13 at the C terminus of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone. Cell and animal studies have examined inflammatory signaling, experimental colitis, and wound models, but these are not human treatment trials. FDA's 2026 review found no human administration data for KPV free base or KPV acetate and inadequate evidence to establish clinical effectiveness or safety. The 10 mg artwork does not distinguish free-acid from C-terminally amidated KPV, identify acetate or another salt, or disclose excipients and formulation.
